Divided by material category, anti-static sheet can be divided into four major categories PS, PP, PET and PVC.
Divided from processing methods: anti-static sheet can be divided into internal and external coating. PP and PS are internally added, and PET and PVC are externally coated. Internal addition means that the antistatic or conductive raw material pellets that have been added are directly processed into blister sheets without the need to add an antistatic liquid. External coating refers to the application of a layer of antistatic liquid on the surface of the material in the production of blister sheet to achieve antistatic effect.
The following is a detailed description of the four materials:
1) PS stands for Polystyrene in English and Chinese translates to polystyrene. There are two conventional colors, black and white, and other colors can be customized according to customer requirements. However, the minimum order of color sheets is very high, and the color sheets can only be made to the antistatic index of 9-11 power. The number is small and the anti-static value is high, so it is generally not recommended.
PS black sheet can be made into three index grade antistatic blister trays, while white antistatic index can only be 9-11 power.
The first type: anti-static blister tray (anti-static index 9-11 power) Under normal circumstances, the use time is about 3-6 months. However, the antistatic value is easily affected by the environment, air, temperature and humidity, which shortens the antistatic life. The unit price is lower than semi-conductive and conductive materials. It is recommended for customers with low requirements on antistatic index and short service life.
The second type: semi-conductive blister tray (anti-static index 6-9th power) under normal circumstances, the use time is half a year to about 1 year. The antistatic value is not affected by the environment, air, temperature, and humidity, but because its price is equivalent to that of conductive materials and the antistatic index of conductive materials is more stable, the latter is established.
The third type: conductive blister tray, also known as permanent anti-static tray (anti-static index 3-6 power). The normal use time is half a year to about 1-3 years. 2) PP is called Polypropylene in English and translated into polypropylene in Chinese. There are two conventional colors: black and natural. The transparent color is slightly white, and it can also be called translucent. PP and PS have a lot in common. Like PS, color sheets and natural colors can only be made to have an electrostatic index of antistatic 9-11th power, and the minimum order of color sheets is generally not recommended. PP is the most high temperature resistant of all materials, and its heat distortion temperature is 80-120 ℃. Compared with the other three materials, PP material is softer. 3) PET stands for Polyethylene terephthalate in English, translated into polyethylene terephthalate in Chinese. The conventional color is transparent. Color sheets can also be made according to customer requirements, but the MOQ is very high and generally not recommended. PET antistatic sheet is processed by external coating, which is the same as PP and PS, and can also be made into three grades of antistatic index. 9-11th power, 6-9th power, and 3-6th power. At present, most plastic blister companies in the market can only control their electrostatic index to 9-11 power. 4) PVC is called Polyvinyl chloride in English, and Chinese is translated into polyvinyl chloride. Like PET, the conventional color is transparent, and color sheets can also be made according to customer requirements, but due to the large order quantity, it is generally not recommended. However, it should be noted that (PVC can only be made into a static prevention effect with a static index of 9-11th power, and raw materials need to be ordered from 1 ton).
